Privacy Policy

Your personal data is the most sensitive part of any visa application. We handle it accordingly — minimal collection, strict access, clear rights for you.

Effective 18 May 2026

Section 01

Who we are

Future Bridge Global ("Future Bridge", "we", "our", "us") is a visa and immigration consultancy operating from Islamabad, Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or engage our services. Where we act as a data controller, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act 2018 for British clients, and applicable provisions of the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA).

For questions about this policy, write to contact@futurebridgeint.com with subject line "Privacy enquiry".

Section 02

Data we collect

We collect only the data we need to evaluate your case and respond to you.

  • Identification details — name, date of birth, nationality, passport information when you engage our services.
  • Contact details — email, phone, address, and emergency contact where relevant.
  • Profile information — education, work experience, language test results, financial information needed for the visa file.
  • Documents you upload — CV, transcripts, passport scans, financial statements, marriage and birth certificates.
  • Communication records — emails, WhatsApp messages, call notes and recordings (only with prior consent).
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages viewed, captured in server logs for security and analytics purposes.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without parental consent.

Section 03

Lawful basis for processing

We process your data on one or more of the following lawful bases under GDPR:

  • Consent — you actively tick the consent box when submitting a booking or contact form.
  • Performance of a contract — once you sign an engagement letter, we process your data to deliver the agreed visa-file services.
  • Legitimate interest — for example, basic analytics, fraud prevention and rate-limiting of our forms.
  • Legal obligation — where Pakistani tax, anti-money-laundering or embassy law requires us to retain or disclose certain records.

Section 04

How we use your data

Your data is used for the following purposes only:

  • To evaluate your eligibility for visa routes and provide written assessments.
  • To prepare and file visa applications on your behalf to the relevant authorities.
  • To communicate with you about your file, appointments and renewals.
  • To respond to general enquiries submitted through the contact form.
  • To improve our website and service quality through aggregated analytics.
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your data for marketing without separate, explicit opt-in.

Section 05

Who we share data with

We share your data only with parties who need it to deliver the service you have engaged us for. Specifically:

  • Visa authorities — UKVI, BAMF, IND, the Australian Department of Home Affairs, Migrationsverket, and other destination-country immigration offices, as required to file your application.
  • Visa Application Centres — VFS Global, TLS Contact and equivalents handle biometric and document submission on behalf of the authorities.
  • Translators and notaries — sworn translators and notaries we engage to attest documents.
  • Educational institutions and employers — when filing student or sponsored work visas, we forward your documents to the sponsoring institution or employer.
  • IT and infrastructure providers — our hosting provider, email provider, and backup services, subject to data-processing agreements.
  • Authorities under legal compulsion — courts, regulators, law enforcement when required by law.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with marketers.

Section 06

International transfers

Because we file visas with authorities outside Pakistan, your data is transferred internationally. Each destination authority operates under its own data-protection regime (GDPR in the EU, UK GDPR / DPA 2018 in the UK, etc.). Where we engage third-party processors located outside Pakistan, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards in line with GDPR Article 46.

Section 07

How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to deliver the service and comply with legal obligations.

  • Active client files — for the duration of the engagement plus seven years thereafter, for record-keeping and audit.
  • Unsuccessful enquiries — 24 months from last contact, unless you request earlier deletion.
  • Server logs — 30 days for technical and security purposes.
  • Marketing consents — retained until you withdraw consent.

Section 08

Your rights

Under GDPR (if you are in the EU/EEA or UK), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right of rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restrict processing — ask us to limit what we do with your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — including objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • Right to complain — to your local data-protection authority. In the UK, this is the ICO. Pakistani residents may approach the Federal Investigation Agency for PECA-related complaints.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@futurebridgeint.com. We respond within 30 days.

Section 09

How we protect your data

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of immigration files:

  • Encrypted transmission (HTTPS) for all web traffic.
  • Encrypted storage of uploaded documents at rest.
  • Role-based access controls for staff members.
  • Multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts.
  • Regular backups with encryption and access logging.
  • Quarterly security reviews and dependency updates.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that risks your rights, we will notify the relevant authority within 72 hours and tell affected clients without undue delay.

Section 10

Cookies and analytics

We use only essential cookies needed to make this site work (for example, remembering form progress). We do not currently set tracking, advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and offer a consent banner.

Section 11

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law changes. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will notify active clients by email.
